Baffler Bird Sculpt Stage 2

I've finished texturing and modelling the feathered plumage. The legs, feathered crest and large feathers at the back will be applied post-firing, reinforced with steel rod for strength.

I've started sculpting in clay,  I'm working on the head and body seperately at this stage.

I thought that it was about time that I did a full body sculpture of the Baffler Bird, so I've made a start with this small plasticine maquette.
