Batubian Magnetic Goat Finished
Whilst exploring the dense forests of the island, the compasses used by Scoffer’s party would occasionally go haywire, needles pointing in all directions, sometimes even spinning. The reason for this strange phenomenon became apparent when some of the Island ’s native goats were captured and kept in a pen. The goats possessed natural magnetic force and when gathered in number, could exert a considerable attraction upon ferrous items.
It has been suggested that they may have utilised the earth’s magnetic field in order to navigate, rather like some migratory birds.

Serpent of Lake Jascareux
The "great wyrm" believed by the local population to occupy a bottomless lake at the centre of the island. Due to the lakes inaccessibility, it was not directly observed by Scoffer's party first hand. He based his descriptions on verbal reports and on the elaborately carved prows adorning the war canoes of the natives.

Rafferty's Jungle Hog Finished
Named after the cook on the 'Pandora' who disappeared over the edge of a cliff while attempting to hunt down one of these extremely fast and cunning porkers. Rafferty was convinced that their meat would taste delicious, alas he never got to sample any.
